Research Assistant – Tom Ng
Tom conducts research on topics such as the development of financial mediation, the amendment of SFO and the current regulatory reform in Hong Kong. He is interested in dispute resolution, legal research, and various financial issues. Tom has worked in the High Court, a law firm as well as counsel’s chambers and received mediation training at the Hong Kong Mediation Centre. He is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Education: BBA (law)/LLB double degree at the University of Hong Kong.
Research Assistant – Andy Tam
Andy conducts research on regulatory reforms and enforcement issues in Hong Kong, US and Europe and the development of hedge fund industry. He is especially interested in investment funds industry and its regulatory development. Andy has worked in a fund management company, law firms and a special unit under the United Nations. He is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Education: Bachelor of Laws (LLB) at the University of Hong Kong; Exchange program majoring law at the University of Warwick.
